Our Foundation: Tyeasha Starks
A HearTY Heart was created in loving memory of Tyeasha Starks, a remarkable young woman whose kindness, compassion, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Tyeasha was known for her beautiful smile, generous heart, and unwavering love for her family and community. She was an honors graduate, an aspiring healthcare professional, an entrepreneur, and, above all, a devoted mother with dreams that extended far beyond herself. Her life reflected resilience, purpose, and the belief that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
On February 20, 2023, Tyeasha's life was tragically taken during a custody exchange involving her young son. Her death devastated her family, friends, and community, and inspired a continued pursuit of justice in her memory. Although her life was cut short, the love she gave and the impact she made continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.
Inspired by the love Tyeasha shared so freely, A HearTY Heart exists to carry her legacy forward by creating opportunities to uplift, encourage, and support others. Our mission is rooted in compassion, community, and hope, empowering individuals and families through acts of service and resources that strengthen lives and inspire positive change.
We believe every heart has the power to heal, to give, and to make a difference. Through scholarships, community initiatives, family support, and charitable programs, we strive to honor Tyeasha's memory by turning love into action, grief into purpose, and loss into lasting impact.
